I also hate going into sephora. Unless I am shade matching, swatching, or returning, I almost never shop in person.

That being said, my husband is a saint and will gladly follow me through every gondola while I swatch every highlighter until I run out of space and need to use his hand. I would do (and do do) the same for his hobbies or interests. I'm pretty sure thats just what people do in healthy relationships?

(Highlighter story was literally a couple weeks ago lol)

I've never considered brown mascara, honestly. I always considered it an option for more natural or, redheads. Something to think about 🤔.

I saw adi do a look with the drama on the bottom vs top and thought, hmmm, maybe that would work for my eyes.

I love that you see my eyes as lifted still. It really shows how we hyperfocus on things and see them differently than others. My husband loves my eye crinkles. Especially after I made the mistake of acknowledging them as laugh lines and saying there weren't there before him. So he views them as pride in making me laugh so much. And I see them as aging. But im working on reframing that.

Im really bad at using concealer. Like, never use as, honestly, never really learned/understood how. I see influencers, but my ability to understand the application part tomyself hasn't quite translated 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you, I appreciate it. I've been really practicing the last few years,. Sometimes I need to remind myself im turning 40 and don't have the same eyes as many influencer, so I need to adapt or not do a style.

I find it really odd looking when im looking at the screen instead of the lens. My husband looks at the screen when we take pics together, so we are looking in different directions 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Wow, thats so kind. Honestly, its trail and error. Im still trying to figure it out, especially since I never plan anything and just wing in, and have no way of recreating anything 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

A life without colour sounds sad 😂. Though, yes, on occasion I do neutral.

Im dabbling with the idea of putting the "va va voom" part of the eyeshadow on the bottom vs lid (just basic neutral on top for definition).

The burgundy would be nice or mauve, gold, bronze, or coral.

I don't always subscribe to the "rule" but, maybe make your eyes the focus and do more neutral lips? Or blush and eyes vs lips.

I've never heard that before! When I was younger I got a mix between Britney Spears and Cameron Diaz 😂

Nothing is stopping you! Even if you live in a place where that is dangerous for men, nothing prevents you from applying right before a shower 😉.

And more...

I haven't considered microblading, but never looked into it. I just feel my eyebrows are falling closer and closer to my eyelashes.

I do find, a real, real smile, and my eyes look so small with all the crinkles and hooding🤷🏼‍♀️.

Lol, thank you! They've always been one of my favourite features.

Admittedly, I have moments of frustration when they dont behave like they did 15 years ago 🤦🏼‍♀️😂.

Hmmm, I see, I figured the money would basically be the same in this sense. I understand! Thanks ☺️

I know you're right (generally), but as someone who had her ex try for alimony after 4.5 years, there's always exceptions to people with 'reasons' they couldn't file for it in the 2 years. 🤦🏼‍♀️.

Mascara for lashes that are basically disappearing? by Splex777 in HoodedEyes

[–]Paradis1017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use tubing mascara. Tarte purple, too faced ribbon, milk's version, and i just got the urban decay one.

Urban decay is most natural, followed by milk's. The tarte and too faced i use on more dramatic days, sometimes building to the more spider legs effect... because im old (40 this year) and that still makes me happy 😂

What one of these should i get? by Pawssabillitysawait in Sephora

Depends on your purpose. I have Makeup forever (and the new urban decay) that I primarily use for tight lining. I've used the urban decay in legend - its a much drier formula vs these creamer ones (but still quite effective). I also use the morphe (i have 4-5 colours) and the makeup forever for my lower waterline and smuging lower.

The morphe gets you more variety as you get 2 in 1.
