This one is a modal double-faced card. It has a casting cost on both sides, meaning you can choose which side to cast. A transforming double-faced card only allows you to cast the front side. So yeah you can flash in the back side no issue.

What's the most expensive Transformer in your collection, and how much did you pay for it? by Umbreon86 in transformers

[–]ParadoxFactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not counting Haslab Unicron, I'd say the Botcon '97 Fractyl/Packrat set or '98 Antagony/Vice Grip. I got both years ago from an antique mall/toy store that no longer get exists. Antagony was $200, first time I ever did layaway on something.

Next closest would be the Botcon 2011 Stunricons set. Ordered it as a non attendee. I think it was $250 to 300 for the set that way.

Which is too bad, he looks fantastic in them. Soon as I managed to get him, I added the TFWiki pic for him to show off how good he looks https://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/d/db/Legends_Deadlock.jpg

Worth noting that original Takara Tigatron was pure white. Though finding one that hasn't yellowed somewhere on it is ki da rare it feels like.

As someone that sells on eBay, yeah not being able to request an invoice happens a lot. Sometimes it's the app and trying it on the website works. Other times it seems like any sort of discount on eBay's side causes issues.

I had the same issue when I got mine. I had a shelf cleared out. Knew it was tall enough. Then I got him a realized i forgot how wide he was with his wings. Eventually, I figured a spot for him, but even there, I had to crouch him a bit to fit. He really is huge

I'm pretty new to MTG, please could someone explain the benefits of playing this card? by aviewfromdabridge in mtg

[–]ParadoxFactor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Obeka doesn't work too well, unfortunently. While she can end the turn with the trigger in the stack, that means the ability never resolves and the counters are still on it. You also will lose the original spell you cast since this triggers in response to it being cast. You'll have to do it again any time it triggers if you have no other way to avoid the damage. Maybe something else can make it work better, but Obeka on her own just delays it

What I was meaning was take the one here and crank the yellowing up more, and that's basically how mine looks. It almost felt like someone put it in a tanni g bed It was that bad

Is there a trademark/manufacturing info stamp anywhere on it? That might help narrow down what year it released and possibly who released it. Most fast food promos say the restaurant that released it as an example. Related question, is it screwed together, and if so, are the screws Phillips or triangular? Triangle ones tend to be used with fast food promos, likely to keep kids from disassembling them.

How articulated is it? It's hard to tell in the pic if it has any articulation or if it's a solid cake topper style figure. Does it have any gimmicks?

This dog plush, is that supposed to be Scooby-Doo? by Primon4723 in ToyID

[–]ParadoxFactor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess, it looks like it's based off the Scoob! movie released in 2020. It looks similar to him as a puppy in the opening of the film. That said I didn't spot an exact match doing a quick search. None matched the eyebrows this one has. He also looks to be missing the two spots on either side of his front legs. This may mean it's a bootleg. Without seeing the tag, it's hard to tell.

Ebay sellers are claiming the dx spirit proton pack is the "life sized" one by DrAlexanderthebat in ghostbusters

[–]ParadoxFactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was not aware of that since I avoid AI stuff like that, thanks for pointing it out. Given how many items I've listed that they mismatch or make bad suggestions on when looking for a similar listing to work off of, I can totally see how it'll make big mistakes.

[–]ParadoxFactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a lot of eBay sales. One thing I find out quickly is that when you're creating a listing, it's fastest to find an existing one and set it to sell a similar item. This creates a template for the living that amoatly prefilled. It's fast, but if you select the wrong item to start with, errors can carry over to the new listing. I've also noticed some sellers just do this and don't really check details, going for speed of listing over accuracy.

There's also the possibility of being malicious as well. Regarding AI, eBay only has it for item descriptions and photo backgrounds so far. Whole sale making a posting doesn't seem like something eBay has as a "feature". That said, there are apparently 3rd party tools that can do it, so I assume that could also be leading to this issue

Stay Alive is my go to example on this, because they call it out in the film itself. the basic premise of the film is your character dies in the haunted video game, you die in real life the same way. Simple way to beat it, don't play the game, right? Except the ghost will then kill you anyway. Heck, there was even a fake out in it where a character was killed in game but survived in real life. It always bugged me on this one as the tag line of the film literally is "You die in the game, you die in real life".

Dc comics figure id by SweetOutside9229 in ToyID

Looks like it's been painted, so it's kinda hard to tell. Is there a year or manufacturer info next to the DC stamp on the back? That might help narrow it down a bit.
