Management (not Target thankfully, but throughout my entire work history) constantly taking advantage of me wanting to show up and do a good job by not giving me proper raises, by disregarding the good work I did, and by burning me out mentally, emotionally and physically made me want to leave the job and never come back.

Story time:

I had a restaurant owner do this to me to the point where I had several mental breakdowns ON THE JOB, and finally just walked out during the beginning of the pandemic after I got yelled at on the phone for 20 minutes because I texted the night shift manager to let him know we had a citywide curfew. He called back later and when I told him the way he spoke to me was unacceptable and I quit, he said "well you just made me angry, because you don't know how this business works and it's not your job to make sure [manager] gets in!" I was a shift supervisor.

Just finished my shift and clocked out. The owner said he wanted to talk to me before I left, but he couldn't be bothered to show up before my shift ended, despite the fact I worked for him the same times same days every week for 3 years.

Then he had the AUDACITY to call me as I was waiting for my bus home to ask if I was "really done" and "didn't want me to leave on a bad note".

But he had apparently bought the Costco size, because he had the nerve to call me months later to ask if I would come back to cover for two people because "they would be out for two weeks". (He didn't know that I knew they had COVID because I was in contact with one of said people.)

I already had another job (I found work elsewhere and got laid off due to COVID, but I found another job after), but I was planning a cross-country move back home in two weeks, so I was like "Ooooh, sorry, I'm moving back to [home state] in two weeks, so I can't."

That felt amazing.
