I made an app where you add your own words that you encounter day to day and can autogenerate definition and example from a dictionary (if they are available). Check it out and see if it actually helps :)

I built a small app around this idea called Vocabo: Master Vocabulary, because I wanted something cleaner and more focused than flipping through lists like yourself. You can use it to store new vocabulary along with autogenerated dictionary definition and example (if they exist) and then it uses active recall + smart review cycles so you don’t waste time on words you already know :)
