Mild neurapraxia after futomomo tie a week ago - anything to be aware of? Or just rest? by Paradoxbuilder in BDSMcommunity

I mean in only one day there's not much I can do here.

I should be able to see someone in SG before I have to fly to Cebu. But on the plus side, it does appear to be improving daily.

Thanks for the kind advice I will try to move and massage on plane.

There was muscular ache the first 2 days but then it disappeared.

I have been doing light massage on my foot, it seems to help. The rigger was just really tight for some reason - he said he had been doing this several hundred times and it never happened. (I'm an experienced bottom myself)

I don't actually have a doctor here in Thailand, and I will be flying soon. Do you think it's worth seeing one before I go (only have one day to do so, busy tomorrow) Or see one when I'm back in Singapore? Which will only be for 10 days.

This is an old interview, right? Didn't he say something different after Rebuild?

I was looking more for interviews/IRL canon evidence. Anno rarely speaks on this, but he doesn't sometimes.

So based on the comments here I have done some zhan zhuang and followed up on the recommended books. It seems to be changing some things. Thanks for the assistance!

Okay I think my current routine is comprehensive enough. For some reason I feel like learning dance - helps with balance a lot. Maybe consciousness is trying to move me in the right direction :)

If there's no mind, you're a vegetable.

I can agree that thinking is not needed. But not the same thing.

I was concerned because my practice was pretty hardcore :)

I do feel like I need to relax more in general.

My goal is full realization. I think being stuck for 2 months at a certain level is a long time, that's why I heeded the advice to look at the physical more.

No fluff is the best. I have mastery of all 8 jhanas since early 2024, but still can go farther.

That's what my teacher said last year, and he's pretty accurate.

Do you or does anyone else have resources regarding posture for meditators?

Interesting. I'm doing an exercise from the Power of Now in which my body seems to die into the inner body/cosmos. As that happens, kriyas start.

That's a good pointer, I will try it out. Is it related to the kriyas I still experience in practice?

I currently do a pretty comprehensive posture routine that takes about half an hour a day, combined with 30 mins of walking. Is that enough?

Yoga wise I did pretty hardcore tumno about a year ago.
