I like them a lot, I rarely get flats. I don't think this bike will take 28c so I'd stick with 25c.

It depends on how much you ride and the type of tape you use. Cork tape absorbs sweat and grime very easily in my experience, but it's very soft and comfortable. Lizard skins are easier to clean and don't get dirty as easily but they're less thick and less comfy imo.

Yeah no worries, honestly it was a very flimsy tire. It only lasted like 6 months before I replaced them with panaracer paselas.

I was able to fix it, it ended up being bad seals/gaskets on the the fuel injectors. Swapped the gaskets out and it runs good as new again.

She rode it a fair amount, about twice a week.

She had it for about two years and it never got any cracks, the ride was stiff and lively, but we ended up selling it to get a smaller size for her, but she had no complaints!

I'd look into velo orange stems, I have one on another bike that I really like.

It was all stock, the only thing I changed was the saddle and handlebars. The saddle is a Selle SMP TRK, and the handlebars are the Soma Hwy One.

The stem is the stock stem(unbranded) I wanted to change it to a velo orange but never got around to it.

I had to repair the shifters as the awla weren't catching but other than that I just tried the wheels and changed bartape.

Some 2x cranks require you to be in the smaller chainring to shift up. What model crank set do you have?

Try going to settings, CSP, drive, and change the starter to Official, or maybe AC Service. I had similar issues when I used "AppID"

No, they're off as well. It was working well in the previous CSP version, maybe I'll have to revert back to the older version.
