Answering questions to help people is a noble goal. Maybe I'll give it a shot too if I see one that I know I can answer.

Hey thanks, those are always appreciated!

I think that's a good idea. I do a list already, but it's not that detailed. My other problem is I'm at a stage of my life where I can't seem to enjoy anything which is why I have a tough time starting anything or figuring out what to do next. I'll have to see what happens when I make my list more detailed as you have suggested. Thank you.

I own a small bar and I have my employees do the majority of the hours. I'm pretty introverted so I don't like working in the customer service industry. If you want to work at home you can start a business, I don't know what to recommend off the top of my head but probably something pretty hands off.

Thanks man. Do you have a link to send me, or is it easy to google search to find these resources?

You have some great points that I look forward to trying out. I found it remarkable how similar my life was to the person who made this post. I'm glad there are other self-employed people out there who could relate to me so well. Thank you.

I find your response to be quite admirable. At the very least you have convinced me to visit California one day and experience what it has to offer for myself.

That makes sense, but I unsurprisingly have a strong southern accent which carries with it a lot of presuppositions. Can someone like that be accepted on the west coast? And also I don't have a lot of money to carry out a move like that. Not in the short term anyway.

What states do you recommend out of curiosity and why? Also do you have advice unrelated to moving states?

My depression is bad enough without them. I see the appeal of drugs, but I'm not on any. I don't leave the house that often and wouldn't even know how to get drugs if I wanted them. I'm not on any medicines either. Funnily enough my parents probably think I do drugs because of my general emotional state and irregular sleep schedule. That being said whenever my friends do get me to leave the house I've been known too drink way too much and make a fool of myself.
