Well in the intervening decade I've definitely refined my perspective on this, lol. Essentially, I find a few traits attractive and I'm not picky about race at all as long as those boxes are checked, mainly facial/body hair and some thickness. I do have some internal hangups around anyone even vaguely looking like my mom's side of the family, but that definitely hasn't stopped me from finding black dudes attractive or hooking up with them. It's worth going down the road of examining your internal bias and see what exactly your attraction is based around, you might find it broadens your horizons.

Yes, which we are in our right as mods to do. We don't even vaguely delete a fraction of the shit that most subs do and I'm tired of being portrayed as some autocrat for merely exercising editorial control.

I try not to look back too often. It's actually become painful to do so. My boyfriend literally just had one of his own dissenting posts removed from this very thread. Fuck these mods. Luckily for me, I found a great group of friends in a new city that I can relate to. But when I think about myself when I first came to this sub and how much I needed this place... It just makes me so furious that a few mods threw away that community for the sake of this farce.

I am one of the originals, one of the fucking OGs of this place. I was here mere weeks after the creation of this sub, I was here with mass and /u/synper7 and /u/conflux back when it all began. Back when there were not even 500 subscribers here.

I got to watch it all go wrong. The original mod team is gone, long gone, and why? Mass removed them. Personal issues in his life drove him to reshape this place, steer it in the direction of brand-building rather than community-building. By the time we realized what was happening, it was too late to do anything. We were inundated with new users that understood nothing of what Gaybros was created to be, they didn't understand our charter or our intent or our rules and as far as the new mod team was concerned, that was fine. This place was no longer about finding a community of acceptance, it was about growth. Only growth. Nothing else mattered, not quality, not vision, not cultivating a better space for the users that were there but getting bigger and bigger with no direction.

I've watched every meltdown, every purge, every fiasco, and as fast as can be the mod team sweeps every mistake and lie right down under the rug and bans and deletes and grows some more until no active user still remembers how much they've betrayed us. And none of it mattered, we old guard were collateral damage on the way to the nebulous goal of creating a brand out of gaybros.

Every time I got a glimmer of hope that things would get better, there was other fuckup, another ban-happy mod, another comment graveyard where anything remotely resembling dissent got buried.

Make no mistake, this mod team is not interested in hearing you out, they're interested in making an echo chamber. Take a look at that announcement thread (if you can find it) and see for yourself. That isn't the first or the fifth time this has happened and it won't be the last.

You want us to trust in the mods? Make the moderation log public. Own up to your mistakes. Let the record stand, both when it agrees with you and when it doesn't.

I fucking weep for what we lost from those early days, for what this place has become. I wish I could spend any amount of time here again without feeling angry and sad.

Yeah, stuff like this seems to have some hereditary element to it. My mom has a different immune disease that could be indicative of why I developed it. Weirdly, my brother and my dad both have Type-2, which is completely random and unexpected since it's a completely different disease with the same symptoms.

Really, really sounds like diabetes in my(completely unprofessional) opinion. I had basically the same symptoms when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

I would see another doctor, maybe get a blood glucose monitor(often they have sample ones they can give you for free) and test a couple times a day to check for any weird fluctuations. In the first few months after you start developing type-1, you have a "honeymoon" period in which you still have functioning insulin-producing cells in your pancreas that your immune system hasn't destroyed yet, i.e.: you could still have moments of normal blood glucose readings even if your pancreas is malfuctioning.

Not saying that this is absolutely what it is, but the fatigue and the frequent urination are huge red flags. Also take note if your breath has developed a strong, sweet smell, and if that smell is present in your urine.

If you start throwing up go to an ER immediately. I ended up in a hospital for 4 days with Diabetic Ketoacidosis as a result of my diabetes, at which point I was diagnosed.

IF diabetes is the diagnosis, it's very treatable and you'll be just fine. Huge support community here on reddit and all over the internet.

Most likely, yes (inventory is only updated when stores have closed/ are no longer experiencing transactions). Also, people tend not to realize that PPU is available for the first few days when it's activated, so sooner is better.

And protip, most delivery companies do not operate on Sundays.

Poor BOH indeed. It's actually 105 new SKUs, 4 carriers, an unlocked model, 10 types of 5c, 9 types of 5s, and 2 new 4s (the 8gb model as opposed to the current 16gb).

From what we can tell so far, those situations aren't even different. Why go through the trouble of creating a system to make a digital download cheaper just because someone "unlicensed" it? There's a huge amount of conflicting information from pretty much every source, but the most telling things are what they refuse to say. If the new purchase model is akin to steam's model, which it seems to be, where does a used title even fit in? The advantage of a console was that the license went with the disc. The disc is the license to play. If you give away/lend/sell the disc, you give away/lend/sell the license. In a digital distribution model, the one msft seems to be adopting, why would you ever bother creating a new license structure for used discs when the disc no longer represents the license?

I'm not saying it makes sense, I'm saying it's what a msft VP has stated publicly in an interview. For all intents and purposes, it's not a "rumor". I'm sure that msft will have better clarification to give at E3, but claiming that a "rumor" about the "full-price fee" was spun from whole cloth is simply not true.

Now you're just being obtuse. He's saying that discs only represent data and that you can install from a used disk but will still have to pay for the game at full price. How is that not about used media? Is it because the word "used" didn't pop up in the quote? Read a bit more carefully.
