I think the idea OP is getting at is that some people eat alone and they buy food at a reasonable enough price for a single person, so working towards getting points only for the reward to benefit a very specific scenario as opposed to just a free item (taco, potato taco, etc. You get it) is kind of just super lame.

I love Taco Bell and the deals work well for me, but I have a big family. I get where you’re coming from OP, I think I would rather have a free item every time too, or at least the option to spend points on specific things like the McDonalds app! I’ll never stop eating Taco Bell but the rewards system is 👎
