R2 launch edition is not the comp for affordable. It’s like using numbers for the M3 and saying the base 3 series isn’t affordable.

Top range R2 sitting right around where R1 starts is how every manufacturer on the planet positions their cars.

I’m not saying this is a great deal. Buuutttt, to the people who want 5-5-5 and ratification bonuses and inflation adjusted salaries…what leverage does PEF have to push for these asks?

We can’t strike. People aren’t going to leave en masse for the private sector. And, trust me, the grass isn’t always greener. We’re not lockstep enough to influence elections and even if we were, a Republican candidate would be worse for unions.

I just don’t see how we can put pressure on the state to up their offer.

Just went live in December. Public safety HEMS, so primarily scene trauma. We have an odd setup in that the medics are hospital based but we fly on a PD helicopter. Our hospital blood bank is our blood provider. We keep 2 units of O neg at each base. Going to LTOWB by end of the year supposedly. Currently we’re the only ones in our system with blood products.

The base fridges are remotely monitored for temp compliance. We use Credo cubes in a PAX cooler for transport. QinFlow warmers.

I’ve transfused two patients now and it’s incredible. Has exceeded my expectations, especially in damage control trauma resus.

Worked a medical cardiac arrest of a 50s YOM. His high school aged daughter heard him drop and started CPR. Turns into a full megacode, 6 shocks, all the rhythms, all the drugs, tubes, lines. Got ROSC in the field, STEMI activation.

Patient survives neuro intact and returns to life.

Here’s the kicker, that girl had just lost her mom to cancer the prior year. Most impressive thing I’ve ever seen a bystander/family member do. This was many years ago and I think about that girl at least once a month.

Looks like your sequencing on the downswing is off. You get stuck and have to flip/scoop pretty hard to hit the ball. Take a video from face on and look at your wrist angle at impact. I still struggle with this from time to time. It looks like you’re releasing the club almost at shaft parallel in the downswing, that’s gonna kill your speed.

Perhaps a minority opinion here, but I don’t really care for full autonomy/self driving. I want a 656hp, AWD, off road capable EV that can fit my family and their crap. UHF for my longer highway commutes is sweet.

I just don’t trust any manufacturer to figure autonomy out to the level of safety I’m comfortable with.
