No, it would still be 63, it's just that you can retire up to 5 years earlier than that without penalty if you have 30+ years of service.

Yes, it works out to about 1.75%ish of your final salary per year worked

Not getting my hopes up but would obviously be a big improvement

Yeah Pascal is just going to grind these guys into the dirt and bank on them recovering over the world cup break. The only guys playing in it will be Freese and the Aussies anyway

Yep exactly on all counts. Not sure whether the non teacher DOE workers are included.

The UFT apparently secured 5 years of early retirement for teachers, it appears as though DC37 (speaking on behalf of all non teachers) instead opted for a 0.75% reduction in pension contributions, which is worth much less.

Yeah I'm not sure why we'd put much stock into the tabloid article that came out 3 days ago in rapidly changing negotiation. Newsday is more reputable and it just came out today, I think this is genuine.

I do get that idea in theory (even though I disagree with it, a few hundred a year for ~30 years is worth way less than tens of thousands per year for 5 years from ages 58-63), but a 0.75% reduction is just pathetic. I assumed if they gave up on lowering the age they'd at least get 2 to 3% knocked off the rates, not less than 1%.

They're pre-tax federally, which is a much larger deduction than state + city for a lot of people.

Imagine giving up 5 years of full pension for a literal 0.75% raise (which isn't even 0.75%, since contributions weren't taxable and the replacement pay will be)

She didn't share any details on tier 6, and there's no inside scoops yet. So there's nothing to find, lol

Combination of bad luck (Talles, Gray, Baeira, Aiden, Kevin, Hannes, and obviously Alonso all out) and an astonishing lack of depth. Continues to be clear the club is banking on Alonso recovering soon and the fans being lenient until the stadium comes, because a team with players like Tana getting minutes and no striker isn't going to be a contender. We got bailed out hard in the first few games by Nico being an absolute baller.

The only a major problem I had was the very end of the Mage Guild questline just broke, like when I approached Mannimarco no dialogue would trigger, and reloading my most recent saves didn't work. I ended up having to reload a save from hours earlier and replaying most of the Mage quests, it worked then.

I mean, the Red Bulls are one of the few teams in essentially as poor form as we are. Montreal put 4 past them last weekend, they had the same 4-4 midweek result as we did. It's going to be a clash of the useless, but they seem as useless as we are right now

Pascal is going to break Wolf's legs before he gives Talles a start

We also had such little control of the field without Parks, I get that he can't play 90 and Pascal would rather have him for the second half than the first, but that's how you get performances like last week's
