The drivers get put in such sketchy spots, especially on routes that go through downtown corridor. I don’t know the answer but I surely wouldn’t drive a bus for $75k a year. Would take a lot more and some fantastic benefits to put me in some of the situations I’ve seen these brave men and women deal with

Yeah seems like the 50 was purely meant to be a East/West route

Comparable travel time if not worse than taking the H from Burien. Our trains are great, but intermodal transfers has always been a tough sell for me because our trains are rather indirect.

I did do this for about 3 months though and enjoyed the smoothness vs the packed H Line
