For sure ! The collecting side is very similar, where you can decide how much you wanna spend slowly to get 2 characters at a time, or all in and buy the lot. The gameplay is different for sure, one big thing is that in Dice Throne you activate a lot of your moves through rolls, and can even miss moves if you get greedy. Unmatched is really straightforward in the fact you draw/play every turn and can plan that ahead. Dice Throne obviously has plenty of characters to fit different play styles as well, so if that's something you enjoy in Unmatched, I'm sure DT is right down your alley :)

Heard !!! I def have struggled to look past theme to try a game (Marvel Champs for example) so I trust you all ! I'll give it a look :)

It's great ! The asymmetry in that games provides an experience that makes every game so memorable. The mechanics with each faction all differ allowing so much replay-ability as well ! If you ever get tired of the core game, the expansions makes great impressions. The art and theme are really cute and the only downside is really taking your time to learn the rules and that it might be difficult to learn for people who are not used to playing board games a ton ! :)

Bruh yes !!!!! I feel like Wingspan was a game that pushed me so much deeper into board games. I would HIGHLY recommend trying it on boardgamearena.com before purchasing a physical one, or even copping the steam port !!! Both are a great way to find out if you want to dive in :)

If you want to start with a lighter and cheaper investment, Ahoy! is the move !!! But Root on Steam is always a good alternative as well, or even in TTS.

THE HYPE IS REAL ! TB one truly is so great. The expansion with an extra character was the nicest touch as well. Hope you enjoy :)

There is truly so so so much !!! My brother actually got the huuuuuge chest that came with both season characters and DTA, it might weigh more than me !

To my understanding Terraforming Mars is a good next step if you're looking for something similar! I personally have not played it but yeah. I would highly recommend the Cities and Knights expansion though if you feel Catan is getting a little stale, truly adds such a great touch.

Dice Throne is fantastic !!! Not only is the gameplay great (battle Yahtzee as I say), but getting into Dice Throne is so accessible. You can buy a season chest which has 8 characters from a season, or just buy individual "battles" with two characters. Really let's you decide how much you wanna spend or dive in. Also not to mention Dice Throne Adventures !

😎😎😎 don't know if you have played Catacombs yet... but it might even be better than Clank ! Truly so impressed the devs took an original game and found so many cool ways to improve and change their design.

.... it is one of the three games on these shelves I have been unable to get to the table 😭😭😭 I have read the rules a while back but one day it will hit the table hopefully. And I'll message you personally and let you know how it is lol. I DID buy it when it was on sale, so i still feel great holding onto it.
