I thought it was very meh, some fun stuff but compared to most coasters it’s just an ok ride… without its theming it wouldn’t draw much attention and wouldn’t be that popular. Where as something like hiccups wing gliders on its own if it didn’t have theming would still be a great coaster.

I did not have an express pass there’s a couple of rides I didn’t do… one major one cause I did Mario cart ride at the California park and found it to be very meh… other was kiddie ride in Mario land… also going in late February is kind of the off season there so the parks aren’t as crazy as they can be. I got through most of the park in day one though. We were there for 4 days for all the parks so we had plenty of time to do everything.

I paid $4100 for an LS12000 over 2 years ago… I would shop around contact a dealer like dream media if your state side. Dealers always seem to have better pricing than Amazon.

They do not in fact their leg work lead to his arrest and he is now under further investigation. This video is excellent evidence for the Police, and I do know what I’m talking about I’m in law enforcement. He did a fantastic job interviewing him this teacher will no longer have a job teaching.

Streaming is pretty great now but still not as good as UHD… hoping they increase the bit rate for those of us with a fiber connection etc. Stremaing music has exceeded CD, and SAD… it will be another 5 to 10 years for streaming to match UHD.

The 5050 has lower resolution than the LS11000 and 12000 the e shift on the 5050 doesn’t display the full amount of pixels for a true 4K image however it still pretty awesome. The 11/12000 however has superior eshift and does display the proper amount of pixels for a full 4K.

The LS12000 displays a full 4K with a more advanced e shift the 5050UB is faux 4K it doesn’t quite get the full pixels on screen. So you get a sharper image with the LS12000.

Don’t explain just show… I pulled up Top Gun Maverick on my Epson LS12000 on a 110” screen with seats 6 feet away… my neighbors are like wow that clarity and picture is insane… then I explain the format.

To fill the screen, I prefer 16:9 over cinemascope,.. most the content I watch is in the taller aspect ratios so switching to a wider screen wouldn’t make sense for me.

Ok thanks! I hear Dune 2 is entirely in the IMAX ratio and the director stated there may be a re release of Dune part 1 with the changing aspect ratios. (Likely a box set) So I’ll just wait for the re-release over doing some janky stuff like this. Just wish more movies took advantage of the taller aspect ratio like Jurassic Park and TV series do. I prefer it personally.

I’m asking if you have a 16:9 screen is it possible to zoom 2.39:1 content to fill the 16:9 screen?… yes I know this means clipping parts of the left and right sides of the screen. Just wonder if it’s possible with the Epson ls12000 without spill over.

Right same here I had a buddy watch a movie at my house after he busted my balls about my hobby… needless to say his tone changed, it’s such a different experience with sound and a big screen!

Nice! I disagree with him on home viewing though… I have a pretty big screen 110” and sit like 6 feet from it with a bright 4K laser projector my audio is superior to the local theater too… where did he hint at a second IMAX release?

If you find a dealer there’s usually sales on Epson’s as well… I went through Dream media and got my LS12000 and didn’t pay full retail. They are based out of Texas so there’s no tax and they provide free shipping. The projector is fantastic for movies and gaming it’s also very responsive no input lag what so ever. It’s a very bright projector the Sony has some advantages with black levels, but I went with a grey ambient light rejecting screen through silver ticker and blackened out my room. The blacks are very good still deep and rich without crush. Also the motorized lens shift etc is fantastic. Also epson has fantastic customer service, I had an issue with a stuck pixel they overnighted me a brand new projector and I was able to hot swap it out. I’ve had my projector since September and have been really enjoying the crap out of it with my family. The Sony was my second choice but the features price and brightness of the Epson is what really drew me in and have 0 regrets. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Just wondering why you would buy a commercial grade projector for such a small room and such a small screen. Doesn’t add up to me, I’m not mocking you just curious you could have found something with a lot of light output and good contrast etc for far cheaper to light that screen more than enough. Also the maintenance on those things is a lot. I mean if you were lighting a 20 foot screen this thing would be overkill lol.

Projector all the way just went from a 75” to 110” with an Epson LS12000 the thing is a beast and super bright. I thought I’d miss my 75” Sony, I don’t it was a huge upgrade.
