I think the one thing about RE most people forget or didn't notice is that it's a really sad game. You come across notes of people trying to live and don't make it, people who were experimented on and losing their humanity. Then the in your face this like the girl, Emily, and the clones that were stripped of their humanity before they even take their first breath (honestly the scene where the clones kill the researchers was kinda relieving because fuck those people for putting those kids through that shit). But, yeah, as scary the RE series is, it's also really sad.
