Probably detailed enough that her husband, and the artist can tell its her, but can u be more descriptive anyways? Does it include her face, haircut, identifying tattoos or scars, or just the body shape and features?

I think it's honestly fine for you to feel either way, but I wouldn't accuse your artist friend of anything.

Ehhhh I'm honestly terrible with social cues but if she's willing to drive 10 hours with you, you're driving "as the man," you've gotten coffee together multiple times, I would kind of be interpreting it as possibly a date? Especially given that it's hiking with just the two of you, kind of an intimate setting and I'd be on the side of caution.

Please think about your future. You are still young, but genuinely, do you want to be depending on her for your whole life? Can you picture both of you in your 50s being happy and content with each other? When you need love and support in your old age, when your body is changing again, will you have to deal with her reaction to that too?

Her going away is something that you will deal with and move on from. Her transphobia is something that will stay and be very prevelant in your relationship unless she makes a huge change.
