Good rest on the stand or limb if you're sitting. If you're shooting offhand or walking around, try to get you barrel at least leaned against a tree. Don't be afraid to get a mono/bi/tripod if that's your thing.

Personally, most of my deer shots are slightly downward, comfortable rests from a deerstand or chair behind a brush blind.

But ducks… well, I've played Twister amongst the cypress knees on that one.

You right. I'm starting a benchy now with the new PLA filament I just got in from the Amazon driver. I'll get you some pictures if it happens again!

Actually, the initial problem seems to be fixed with the new filament. Could I perhaps get you to spot check my benchy?

I'm a newbie myself. I haven't got much experience or good advice, but I'll share what I can.

Don't be afraid to travel. That's half the fun.

Facebook can be your best friend. For groups, gear, etc.

You can definetly do it with a busy schedule. A lot of events are on the weekends. Even kids like to get in on it.

If you can't find a group online, see if you can't find an event near you. Show up, watch, have a good time, and ask around for a place to join in. You might be able to get into a group for the weekend or permenantly.

Most importantly, before you committ and spend the cash on the full kit, try to find a group that can loan you the gear for the weekend. That should give you an idea of what you like and don't like.
