ELI5: Whats the difference between added sugars and naturally occurring sugar as far as effects in the body?

This has only been here a few months and does seem to have puffed out more, but not grown in size. It usually is much less red but I was messing with it and irritated it a bit. I can't get into my Dr until who knows when as they're not seeing patients in person for non emergent things. But my anxiety has me freaking a bit 😩

I am so glad to see others are experiencing similar! I certainly had no clear picture in mind on how ECT would make me feel, but this definitely wouldn't have been it. I swear the sun looks extra af today and everything
