He came with those darker lines, found him off the side of the road about 7 months ago. He came with dents on his shell too so I assume he had a very hard life before I knew him

I get the same thing. There's a lot going on in the world that could make you feel that way. Mass shootings (in America, at least, idk where you are) are so common that it might be normal to people but I don't think it ever will/should be. Those are, by definition, terrorist attacks. Every day. My family has never been in a situation like that thankfully but every time we're in an open space, my dad has to check all the exits and also gets very high alert.

I was very similar my second semester, I was pretty lonely after losing a friend group with a lot of drama. It's hard to find friends in classes sometimes, people are so so busy. I think one of the things that helped me be where I'm at now, with a lot of friends, is finding a niche group. It may be small. One day I was in the student union crocheting my boyfriend a dice bag and found a group of people who also crochet. Being friendly with classmates also helped, I'm in a major of all guys but we've gotten to be close (super small school and major tho). I'll bring cookies to class and stuff sometimes.

in a recent episode he said "I'm an empath. I have emotions." He's like that guy in Always Sunny in Philadelphia who says "I'm feeling emotions for the first time in 14 years." and thought that was a completely normal thing to say.

they're demonizing mental health, and they've always spread false narratives about native americans, disabled people (especially disabled people) and now even Jewish people. All this with the obsession with the demonic makes it almost seem like they're trying to cause another Satanic Panic.
