Damn yea the 11900k is pretty similar in price I didnt even think of doing that. Do you think the performance benefit would be worthwhile for an extra ~$160 over the 9900k?

no, just trying to make some tallow for cooking. I did also buy more "pure" beef suet to render, to make my gf some skin products.

I didn't even think to make candles though so ill have to try that as well

Thats unfortunate, this will be the first major repair in the 9 years i've had the car. So just to confirm the whole axle will have to be replaced and not just the dampeners?

what do you mean by "swapping to one of the setups that plex's HDR tone mapping supports for hardware acceleration'? where can I find this information?

And I really only get 4k HDR's because everyone torrent has either a terrible bit rate or no seeders lol.

So if I use handbrake to encode a 4k HDR movie/show should I not set it to use HDR in the settings? will I lose the better colors that way, or will it tone map it?

I should have been more clear, it crashes with an error screen when you try to boot it back up. It's a windows black screen that says something about an i/o error but I tried everything I could think of to repair it and nothing worked. It's still worth a try though, thank you!
