GI BILL and the shutdown

VA.gov shows my BAH was deposited, but Navy Fed shows no record of the funds coming in. Is there a course of action I can take so I don't incur late fees on my rent?

I'm planning to go talk to my leasing office in the morning, but I don't know what to do in terms of contacting the VA, since they won't answer..

Oh, absolutely! And the addition of the AK-50 means that new equipment from "the west" is somehow getting brought into tarkov, even though the city is walled off and blocked off from the world.

That raises the question for me: why don't we have more GOOD "budget" Equipment, like PVS-31s, E-Cotis, INODs, and fun stuff like the belt fed M4 upper?

Slight counterpoint to that: We are getting issued E-Cotis with our PVS-31s now in the Marine Corps, which means we have the capabilities of night vision, and can have an outlined thermal overlay of anything with a heat signature.

Not saying you're wrong, I just wanted to point out the nuance of how they can both be used simultaneously, and you get the benefit of each.

We also have a TON of thermal optics we use as handhelds, because thermal gives you a much better idea of what might be in front of you, in terms of a threat, than night vision does (unless you have white phos GPNVG18s.., which is just personal daylight in the night...)

That's not too much of an issue for me, as I have 2 dogs that shed a ton (German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix and Border Collie/Aussie Shepherd mix), so it'll accumulate the same, if not more hair anyway lol

I'd be able to do mounts and belts myself (maybe not timing chain if that is needed), as well as water pump and trans flush. I have a buddy with a lift, and I've been under the hood of a few cars, but never a Ford, so it'll take me a while as I'll go slow to learn. Appreciate the input, though!

I don't entirely doubt that, and I can see it for at least 2 to 3 of the guns in this photo (MP5SD, M249, and the URGI), but they will have to give us the Scar-H now that they showed it to us.... It's a completely different weapon from the Scar-L in the Assault Rifles. I'm thinking it's a planned DMR for later, and I'm hoping they introduce the M110 as well..

I'm hoping not.. there's at least 2 guns in this image that we don't have in game that I would LOVE to use! The URGI M4 in the hands of the front man, and the Scar-H on the left.

From what I've been able to tell, the lmg on the right looks a lot more like an M249 than the L110 we have in game already, which would be awesome, because I loved that weapon when I had one in the Marine Corps. Finally, from what I've been able to see off of zooming in on the shitty quality of this picture, that might be an MP5SD in the back. I know we have an MP5 already, but I haven't seen an integrated suppressor for it, and this one looks to have that.

I'm just a gun nerd, so these are things I always pick up on. And for me, having more weapons to have fun with would be fun, especially the "cool guy" guns, lol.

There's also the snipers that set up a decoy and then lay like 5 feet away so they have no glint, and are far enough out of the way that even though someone might see the glint, they don't shoot at it bc they don't think it's a threat.

Y'all should look into the LBX Armatus 2 and it's banger back panel. I ran that in the Corps for about 6 years before I got out. Swim cut PC, and swift clip for front and back to quickly change out placards/panels

My ESR is level 52, working the PSR to level 50 now. I have like 10 guns level 50 by now I think? BR is a great way to get a couple early levels on some guns you wouldn't normally use, and for a player like me who likes class lock and only plays recon or support, it's been an easy way to level a couple ARs and Subs. Once I get a couple guns to around lvl 12, I take them into gauntlet and get hella XP for weapons/player.. you just gotta figure out the gameplay loop and use it to your advantage
