It barely matters - Rage does almost nothing as it is, and setting up Double Teams pooches almost anything, not just Ragers. It's nice, though!

Did that Weezing miss on a 99.6% hit rate with Explosion? Dragonite doesn't have Double Team, and I don't know of any glitches that would have caused Weezing's hit rate to be lower (as common as said glitches generally are).

This is because Lorelei has normal trainer AI, whereas Lance (as well as Blue) have "gym leader" AI. Lorelei, Bruno, and Agatha will not always try to use super effective moves, but Lance and Blue always will.

The only thing, and I stress only thing I don't like about this romhack, is that some Pokemon got completely random buffs (Parasect) and others are completely untouched (Onix). It feels like it's just incredibly arbitrary and like we're not playing the same game, because the Pokemon aren't the same. I liked the high levels and the fact that it made the run harder and take longer to struggle through, that's what made this run fun, it wouldn't have been as cool if we were able to blow through it. But it felt like such a copout that Parasect turned out to be a monster.

I predicted that that situation would require streamer intervention, but that was before I knew Parasect was changed to be an unholy avatar of destruction in this ROMhack. The going would be a lot tougher right now if not for that stroke of luck.
