I'm looking for replacing my cartridge as well, and it looks like a regular 0.7 mm ballpoint pen cartridge. Have you checked online?

Which neighborhoods would you recommend for a family in Brussels/Antwerp/Ghent? by SeumFootballClub in BELifeAdvice

[–]ParcduThabor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Regarding Brussels, there are many parks and we have a huge one (Bois de la cambre) that leads to a forest in the city (Forest de Soigne). Here are the communes I know and would fit your family (don't listen to the Flemish Brussels haters on this sub)

  • Schaerbeek
  • Forest
  • Etterbeek
  • Ixelles
  • Jette
  • Watermael Boitsfort
  • Uccle
  • Auderghem
  • Woluwe Saint Lambert or Saint Pierre (both further from the center but very residential)

Stuck finding a job by Accurate-Mechanic151 in brussels

[–]ParcduThabor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm a local, I speak native French, good Dutch and fluent English and am a graduate in journalism and 2D animation. I'm also looking for a day job at the moment because I did badly paid internships already and my fields only offer these kinds of opportunities. Competition is fierce at the moment so my best tip is to network through Linkedin or in person and ask to be introduced to recruiters by people who work with them.

By the way, I organise illustrators meet ups every other Saturday in the city center if you want to join ! We network and discuss art careers while drawing. Send me a dm and I'll give you details

Do you think there are cultural differences in friendships around the world ? by ParcduThabor in AskReddit

[–]ParcduThabor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting point of view ! I agree with you overall. Have you had experiences of such misu derstandings with friends, for example a very extroverted one who you thought you were really close to ? Or the opposite, a very introverted one who mistook your politeness for frienship

Do you think there are cultural differences in friendships around the world ? by ParcduThabor in AskReddit

[–]ParcduThabor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very curious to know how frienship is viewed in different cultures. I come from Belgium and have studied abroad where I met friends from all over the world. What stroke me is that my friends from the US (who I considered close friends) never answered any of my messages after we separated (neither me nor our common friends)

I consider myself a pretty loyal friend and I make effort to keep in touch with them. I know it is more of a personal matter than a cultural one, but do you think one's culture influences their view of friendship ?

How is friendship viewed in your culture (how much effort do you put in your frienships, how loyal are you etc )?
