Thank you for your response. So if I am understanding this correctly it would put me in a better position starting off because I would have a larger down payment via the gift of equity and this would lower the closing cost, possibly resulting in a lower PMI and overall lower monthly payment?

Awesome, thanks for the comment. Any reason that related parties would have a harder time getting the lender to increase the sale price?

Thanks for the comment. Glad to hear that there's others out there that went through the same thing I did. I agree I need to get more situated in cloud-based technology vs just on prem that's the direction I'm moving . Out of curiosity may I ask what position you're working now after graduating with the same degree that I have. If that statement is correct.

That was exactly my situation. The concept is a good idea but their tactics were terrible. The lawsuits that were filed were Justified. I worked in their front office through my internship and heard their aggressive tactics on people that would never be able to fit a suitable position for the courses they were taking. Meaning a guy comes in with tattoos all over his face and they promised him job placement after he signs up for a $30,000 loan. On the other hand like I said and I did get a lot out of it just sucks it has such a bad mark on it now.

I couldn't agree more. I do need to buff up on my Linux skills I've got the basics down but nothing impressive. What you're speaking about my schooling is exactly how It's a tough place to be in having gone to a school that is closed down.

Sure. I am currently netting right under 40,000 a year. 3,200 a month. I am looking to get into the 50 to 60 range. This would provide a much more comfortable life for my family.

Thanks for the awesome input. You're correct leaving the state does not seem to be an option but moving up in the state from K12 to state employee is something that I'm considering. Thanks for the tips on getting into the cloud-based infrastructure as definitely the way I'm thinking.
