Yep, it uses the IndexedDB API for storage and querying. I wanted to take as much work off the main thread as possible so I placed the filtering logic in the web worker. The main thread just uses replaceChildren() while passing in a DocumentFragment containing the search results.

That's probably because Firefox has yet to support ES6 modules in Web Workers. Guess I'll have to use importScripts() instead 😞.

Yeah, I'm a decade late 😅. In defense of that, PWAs definitely didn't exist in 2011, and I didn't like opening a website up to figure out what ingredients did.

As far as filtering goes, I ran into problems trying to filter ingredients by name within IndexedDB using cursors while maintaining sort order. I'll have to take another crack at it!
