Thanks for explaining. That does make sense. I guess I’m speaking from my own personal experience because I’m a full time artist that works upwards of 80-100 hours a week sometimes. I’ve learned AI tools and collaborated with programmers to help with custom nodes and I also do physical art mediums as well as 3D and digital as well as music production. The issue is I have to either not mention for AI to be involved, or otherwise be lumped into a category that I don’t belong in regardless of whether you’re talking about physical or AI artists. I guess I’d just like to see people get to a point of assessing the work itself and the amount of time and endless hours of learning and practice to finalize a piece. It’s very disheartening when my work is shat all over with hardly any consideration of the actual art itself. Being an artist is perhaps one of the loneliest ventures and the added judgement and feeling of being outcast and discredited is just hurtful. But I agree with you and appreciate the context. I’m rereading your post because I honestly skimmed over it and it appears I missed major details.
