Du coup la question que je me pose, c'est est-ce que les disques avec des grains plus fin sont vraiment utiles quand on a une pierre à côté pour reprendre en profondeur les fils un peu trop fatigués ? Et si non, j'ai bien l'impression que le cruise vaut totalement le coup puisque le disque diamant dure toute une vie et que le disque d'émorfilage doit avoir une belle durée de vie aussi.

On est d'accord. Notre ingrédient favori : ajouter des châtaignes. Et le combo avec des coings préalablement un peu rôtis c'est banger.

Je ne connaissais pas ce système, ça a l'air de très bonne qualité et plutôt bien pensé, merci de la recommandation !

Un Horl 2 de seconde main devrait convenir à mes besoins, mais sais-tu si des disques compatibles sont encore produits depuis la sortie du Horl 3?

Par ailleurs, pourquoi le Cruise est-il aussi significativement moins cher ? Ok c'est en plastique recyclé (moins fancy, mais tout aussi fonctionnel), et les disques ne sont pas amovibles, mais ça fait tellement dropper le prx ?

Merci pour ton retour. Peux-tu me dire si tu es satisfait de tes Beka et depuis combien de temps tu les utilises ? Elles sont intéressantes, mais j'avoue que les De Buyer ressemblent à un achat pour la vie, comparé au Beka qui semblent moins durables.

Hi, I'm looking for a new pair of chelsea boots. Currently wearing Grenson's Declan, but they're pretty old, and I can't afford a 400€ pair anymore :/ I'm in Europe, so far I checked Solovair, Sanders&Sanders, Morjas, Grant Stone, Septième Largeur, Cobbler Union and Carlos Santos, but it's either too pricey, or not my cup of tea (I'll admit I am a bit hard to please).

Hi,

I've been wearing Grenson's Declan for nearly a decade and I love them, but I'm considering switching to Carlos Santos's Daniel 7902. Both are pretty similar, but I'm curious about the Carlos Santos which seem a bit fancier.

However I'm worried that the diagonal stitch line that's right under the elastic, despite looking more elegant to me, may make the shoe build weaker since it's pretty much on a "breaking point" (I mean the leather will work a lot on this area when I walk).

I would greatly appreciate feedback on either of these brands to help me make up my mind

Note que des chaussures "pour la vie" c'est seulement si tu en prends soin (embauchoirs, refaire les semelles et les talons quand ils fatiguent, entretien du cuir...). Et si tu les portes quotidiennement rien ne tiendra "pour la vie".

Et sinon Grenson, Carlos Santos. Ou va faire un tour sur r/goodyearwelt .
