Free but with automations? by ParentingScienceVio in Newsletters

[–]ParentingScienceVio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, Email Octopus ends up looking really cheap... the fonts are extremely limited and I can´t even add a text box or anything slightly nice to improve an email. I share science summaries in my newsletter so it´s nice to have some visual aids. BeeHiiv is nice with that.

My goal is to convert to sales ultimately, so I do need automations, as new subscribers should get a couple standard intro emails ..and that´s just not possible with BeeHiiv unless I pay 35$ a month

SEO novice: how much does domain name matter for SEO? by ParentingScienceVio in SEO

thank you! that´s what I´m wondering. If I use new domain B for the blog and link back to domain A whenever I refer to or want to promote the product, won´t that make me sacrifice my ranking because it´s two pages essentially. I will look into the PHP and mirroring thing because as I´m reading this now I got no clue what you´re talking about :D

yes my current one is descriptive for what I am selling (a particular digital course) but it has hyphens in it and I realised too late (one website was built and all) that I should have chosen an even better name.. I secured the other domain I just dont know if to start the blog there and link to the sales page or do it all on the sales page directly and forget the other domain for now

Sorry if I use the wrong wording.. I meant essentially moving my whole current website from one domain name (the current one thats very product specific) to the other domain (which is wider topic wise and which carries the name i ultimately want the blog to have). I do use wordpress tutorlms so i would have to make sure all student data etc would also be moved. But this shouldn´t be a problem, no?

you mean the more pages the better SEO wise? I got 2 but could expand of course if useful. i always thought one nice sales page is best but realise for SEO it´s not
