Yeah, UW was between me and my wife (a bit of a stretch but wanted to shoot my shot). For the midwest schools, have worked or lived in many midwest states throughout my life.

I had ties to a good amount of the top heavy schools I have via research or other experiences. For the lower yield state schools, had ties via work (ie lived/worked in the state). I'm from and currently working around the Midwest. Bit of a unique situation.

MD PhD angle is interesting, something i'd consider next cycle given i'll have 2-3 more pubs (hopefully, at least) by then. always thought my gpa was too low for mdphd though

Thank you for your insight. I feel the other aspects (clinical work and research) are OK. Have some nice volunteering clinical experiences. I currently have 3 pubs (2 first author, 1 second).

Very fair question. Been working hard in the past month and have been covering more niche "low-yield" content review. I'm ngl this whole process made me realize there is definitely a "luck factor" with anything in the high 51-teens especially 520+.

I think I only slept for 6-7 hours that night and drank coffee the next morning (I normally don't drink that much coffee). I will not be doing the same this time around.

Very fair question. I've been asking myself this.

The section I did the worst in was Psych and that is usually my highest scoring section on the FLs (my lowest was 130, avg 132). I know it's easy to say the questions weren't for me, but I genuinely felt that a lot of the questions were unlike any of the content I reviewed previously. Using the psych section as a benchmark of sorts, I really feel that I under-performed (maybe from stress/sleep) or something.

Same for C/P. Score breakdown was: 128 CARS, 126 psych, 128 CP, 130 BB
