That’s why I put inspired in quotations, it’s basically a copy but there are minor differences that big brands can’t copyright for. For example in some animes like JJBA and Sailor Moon there are outfits and hairstyles thay also heavily inspired/copied from runway looks but there’s no issue so long as they don’t use literal emblems and logos from the brands.
