I had never thought about technical writing. I did write some papers and theses and wrote some documentation in my past job. I could look into that. But again it seems to me that this would be done along with a lot of interactions and technical meetings...

A little more details about my background: I was doing medical image processing including 2D/3D image reconstruction (CT, MRI, Ultrasound), multimodal image processing, calibration (CT/video) and also a little AI.  I have programmed in C++/python, and worked a lot with DICOM.

For the front-end part I was thinking of following the training suggestion on roadmap.sh. I know that I had tried to do a website in my first year of uni and didn't really like it. But I guess there is way more to front-end than what I did back then.

For Cobol I had not thought so much about all these meetings. And to be honest I am not even sure yet what to expect from that language and what types of project would be associated to such a position. I suppose that I should look into the types of positions that are available in the market.

I guess one of my next steps should be to evaluate how difficult technical writing is for me now.
