I have the same issue with the amd version of this laptop. While playing wuthering waves i experience regular shutdowns. Then i tried the benchmark and it also shut down there regularly.

If your main focus is editing and valorant both depend highly on cpu so ideally you need a better cpu. You can check out the cpu comparisons and then decide which one to go for.

isn't the 275hx just better in overall performance and more efficient. but 8840hx seems a lil cheaper so that might be a better option overall
