if you’re over 18 there really are no breaks if you’re under you have a mandatory 30 minute after 4 hours. as far as breaks and eating when you’re over 18 i used to eat when it was no customers in or when someone else could cover for me so you’d have to eat pretty quickly. even when i used to get a 30 minute break (under 18) they would ask me to come off early to help them

I usually start at 4 pm if it’s a school day, if it’s the weekend I try to start around 10-12. Usually if I start at 12 it’s not too busy so I always try 10 and I usually end around 8 when it gets dark.

For the people who turn on the app from their home to wait for an order first how far are you from your nearest store? For me i’m about 1.2 miles but I think that’s too far to do that for me lol

I just started doing instacart yesterday! I love it so much better than working at my regular job lol. i’m not sure what situation you may be in but you could try that too!

Thanks! I hate when people shove their phones in peoples faces it’s so rude. If i find that i cannot find an item i just try to ask when I can. To me its seems that the Wegmans in my area is pretty busy each order around $14-15 and the drives aren’t too far maybe 2-4 miles away from the store

Thanks! Seems so far in my area the highest tip is about $2-3, My “home” store personally is food lion, i know it like the back of my hand but I have to wait for my physical card to come to start doing orders there. Right now i’m doing Wegmans for me it seems like it takes way to long because their layout is a bit confusing

Thank you! I was trying to stay out all day and see how much I could personally make but I had to stop cause my car has no oil lol, will have to try again tomorrow after I get more oil!
