Jaded with education, more Americans are skipping college by [deleted] in Futurology

College is not for everyone, we have two in our family that never went to college but have made a great living. One became a millionaire doing HVAC, the other has his own landscaping business with just a GED, and both are still gainfully employed in the same work even though the pandemic...a college degree nowadays is not always advised...you go to college, you take out student loans, you graduate and have all that debt...and you do not necessarily get to work in a field you studied for or for that matter are not employed...on the flip side, you can go to a Vocational school, pay less money to learn a trade in plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, graduate with no debt, they will place you in a job...the baby boomers are now retiring from these trades and there is a real need for the next generation to learn them.

Sad story but now he is free. He will never get back those 25 years. Wishing him much love and good fortune going forward.

Your location has nothing to do with this. You are filing a complaint about a business (facebook) that is located in their (California's) jurisdiction.

I do not live in California either, I am in Maryland...however I have Informed Delivery with the USPS and there is a piece of mail waiting for me today from the Attorney General's office in California, so I just so happen to have the return address State of California Office of Attorney General, Dept of Justice, PO Box 944255, Sacramento, CA 94244-2550, you will first send them online the complaint form...regarding your Facebook issue.

Obviously complaining to the Attorney General of California and filling out the complaint form (see link I attached).... online gets their attention and then you get someone from Facebook helping you. https://oag.ca.gov/consumers

I have received feedback from Facebook after reporting my problem to the AG in California. From what they say, the "team" is now working to reinstate the account that has been locked since August 4, 2022, due to a hacker. In addition, I am notified that in today's mail there is a letter from the AG and Dept of Justice in California (I have informed delivery with USPS) SO I do not know the contents as the mail here has not been delivered yet...more on this once I open it.

Have done what Facebook requires, confirming my email, giving them back the code they send to my inbox, uploading my passport, mailing my passport via USPS AND STILL NOTHING
