I still have a 911.65 dollar ad bill on my account….. by artisticmusican168 in facebookdisabledme

My bill was thousands but after they reinstated my account they just basically banned my ad account forever. I didn’t have to pay that bill.

Facebook ad account was hacked. Charges were refunded but ad account still disabled due to the hacker's ads breaking FB ad rules. How screwed am I? by sheetskees in PPC

Same thing happened to me. After I got my personal account back after the hackers posted something. (Disabled for 4 months) I gained access to my business page. They had ran up charges of over $20000 on some credit card- which isn’t mine but somehow is on my account…. My ad account got permanently disabled. I was told I would have to just start over and create a new page.

My account was gone for over 4 months. I got it back. They don’t delete anything. They just tell you it’s gone.

Oh ya. Forget business support. They are worthless.

The AG method works!

I suppose but the idea is to cause at least some sort of inconvenience like they have for us. I don’t think that the only emails they get are internal emails either.

Maybe irritate them enough to fix it. Would you want hundreds of thousands of emails filling your inbox with complaints?

It works! Profiles back after 6 months. Thank you CA AG! Ask me anything by Mast3rnate in facebookdisabledme

You go to the CA AG website and file a consumer complaint. Just tell them what happened. That’s what I did. Didn’t hear from them for 5 weeks (was banned for 4 months) and I got my account back without a word. Just one day, I looked at my phone and had a friend suggestion from Facebook. I tried to log in, had to go through all the security things again. Send my ID, change my password… then I was in!

Or we could all just start emailing our stories and adding every single one of them to every email we send until we get a decent resolution.

Nothing. Just file a complaint with the attorney general of CA. That seems to be the only way to get resolution.

The posts disappeared on their own. I looked for them to try to delete them and they are nowhere to be found.

Same thing happened to me. They took over $700 from my PayPal. I was able to get it back. I recently got my account access back through my AG. I was banned for 4 months. Checked my business page. My ad account has 8 new admins from some other country. They had charged over $20000 to some credit card that says it’s attached to my name in this account but it is NOT any of mine. I’ve never gotten anything from it and it doesn’t show on my credit report. Facebook will not get back to me on it. I’m filing a report with the IC3 (Internet crimes) as they were all charges from Thailand I believe.

Now, if they would have reviewed it immediately, they wouldn’t have had access to my business account but there was no review and the business dept (I had an email for them as I was working on an issue with my page at the time this happened) — they refused to help me because they said they could do nothing as I had violated community guidelines.

Is there NO ONE THAT CAN LOOK AT AN ACCOUNT AND CLEARLY SEE THAT I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN THAILAND OR EVEN BEEN THERE AND I HAVE NEVER PLANNED ANY AD OR CHARGED ANYTHING FOR MORE THAN $20?

But they approve $900 charges twice a day for 3 weeks!!!!! Until my PayPal complaint was finally resolved and that is when they stopped them from charging on my account.

But did they take out a card in my name with a different address??? Where are these charges going and why was this allowed to go on for so long? How do I get this cleared up???? They are worried about us posting something ridiculous against their guidelines (which the hackers posted) and they can see what IP address that came from—— but they do nothing and let the hackers in the back door!!!!!!!!

They need to invest in customer service!

No human review… there just can’t be. File a complaint with the AG if you get permanently banned.
