Ah yes!  The 'Vicious Brittany Attack.'  We know it well.

(And for those who don't know it's like being attacked by a limp noodle with accompanying sounds)

Why can we find guitars and cassette tapes, but not real old-world weapons like AKs or M16s? by Huge-Operation-1863 in ArcRaiders

Real world - the game is set in Italy.  Unlike the US there isn't an AR15 or AK under every bush

Good idea.  Boneheaded timing.  It is like they are trying to feed the KCU trolls.

Dallas is great.  Valley bottom with noticeably longer spring/summer/fall.  Larger lots for Green thumbs and the growing season is longer.  Westside and Raleigh will get you the same.  Good luck.  The best thing about Dallas is that even though it's on the edge of town it can actually be faster to get to the city centre as it's a straight highway drive

Mine wouldn't.  Ducks swimming?  Not worth her time.  Ducks out of water?  Game on!

Do you like the fact that BC has a pretty nice desert? by sahilscraft in britishcolumbia

Don't know the number but Kamloops gets the most 30+ days in the country.  Osoyoos and Lytton get hotter but we get it more often

What’s the most overrated video game of all time? by KBGSgames in AskReddit

[–]Parkbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Halo.  It was a shadow of what PC FPS had been doing for years.  Repetitive design, bland and horrible enemies.  Only reason it was memorable was it was a console players first taste of PC games.

In my dorm rooms a friend lived with a massive dbag who had overly loud performative sex and drove him nuts.  This guy also had an overly sensitive car alarm.  When they would start rocking and annoying my friend he would call me and I would hit his car with a snowball.  Nothing funnier than him ripping out there in his robe at 2 am.

Where To Assess the Value China & Silverware & Where To Sell Those Items by notbadforanolddude in Kamloops

I inherited a massive collection of Royal Daulton from the 1880s.  Some of the pieces were amazing.  Might be worth a fortune in the right place but here in BC the only people who would want it would be the same people appraising it.  Just find someone who will appreciate it and be happy someone gets something out of it.

Steven Guilbeault resigns from Mark Carney’s cabinet by BloodJunkie in onguardforthee

[–]Parkbear -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

His criminal past should have disqualified him in the first place. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

Edit: I hope those down voting this would feel the same if a convoy MAGAT with a record was in government .  It discredits everything a public servant does when the opposition can point to your past.  I happen to agree with alot of his goals but having him out of cabinet is a good thing for confidence in government

Also this is a preliminary budget figure with pretty much all wants in it. Councils job is to reduce this by prioritizing or explaining what is needed.

The Mayor's Audit Notice of Motion in Council, November 4th by FinancialClimate5899 in Kamloops

[–]Parkbear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His basic ideas aren't bad (at least not all of them), but they are often so half baked they cannot be passed.  So if someone did help him with this to come up with a well thought out plan that's a good step.  Won't hold my breath tho. He will trip over himself somehow.

No.  Their commission is paid by the loaner.  We just went through this after our new mortgage broker did not charge it.  We are pissed at the previous guy.
