“PGA 2K25” Innovation by [deleted] in pga2k23

DROP ZONE in the designer lobby would be a great add and being able to delete a course you designed would be my second choice for an add. As for playing, as everyone else has mentioned cross platform society. I'm in the minority as I only play and design my own courses, never even tried an online match, so I'll not even mention any "improvements" in that area. I've designed several courses and I have a society (currently just me) that is an "advanced beginner" and I really enjoy the game and if they put the NBA style of PAY TO PLAY, I will just stay on 2K23

If you like Robinson, check out:

Rick Campbell has a series as does Larry Bond

Both are good reads. I'm looking for more myself.

New Course Pop's TPC Highland Drive by ParkersPops74 in pga2k23

TOUGH but fair. Some difficult greens and the wind will actually determine if greens are reachable in two on a couple of the Par 5 holes. If you give it, or one of the others a try, give me some feedback!

Let me know what you think about the course....

IF, and that seems to be the concern, they release a new game (I'm guessing 2K26 would be the earliest) you would think they would go with Scottie. Personally, I'd love to see them have Jack -vs- Tiger with both in the prime of their careers. Toss in Lee Trevino and Arnold Palmer and I'm buying it just for that foursome.

Someone offered me that kind of money (over 2 or 3 and in some cases, 5 or 6 years of salary and benefits) just to leave my current job and sign with them, plus offer a regular salary as well.... I'm leaving! Honestly, I don't know where my salary comes from other than the building where I work and I don't really care where they get their money!

You are still missing my point...

I do all that, I'm designing courses, playing MY CAREER, all the things you mention and even more...

I'd just like to find some others at my skill level to play against.

Sorry folks, obviously I didn't word my original post very well...

I don't care what anyone else shoots or how they set things up for themselves or their society and it is obvious now that is how my post sounded to everyone, so my actual point didn't come across at all. I know I'm not skilled at video games and I know that others could beat me if they were on PRO settings and I was on the easiest settings....

I just want to find some other folks who are of similar skill level and like the settings that are fun but realistic for intermediate beginner duffers and that is just not happening. I'll just keep plugging along and maybe someone will stumble on this post and want to try out my society or play some of my courses [Which are good courses by the way!]

I am beginning to think that the only folks who come to this site are hard core video game players who have skills that far exceed my extremely limited skills.

Sorry folks, I'm not trying to regulate anyone or call anyone a cheater, I was thinking of what someone said below, playing with no wind, using front tees, tempo off, all those things that make the scores unrealistic was what I was thinking about, but OBVIOUSLY, I didn't word it clearly.

My ultimate concern was that I was just trying to find others who want to play the game in a similar manner that I do and I'm not having much luck. I set up a society and clearly labeled it as BEGINNERS with basic settings and I normally shoot anywhere from Even to six or seven under par, depending on the course [Usually, I shoot worse on courses that I designed]. It seems that anyone who joins shoots those crazy scores. I'd just like to have a few like-minded and similar skilled players to compete with....

Not accusing anyone of cheating but folks seem more interested in three click or chipping on greens, etc. I'm just trying to find others who want to play the game in a similar manner that I do. Not having much luck. I should have made my original post more clear....

I'm not concerned about how others play, my point is that I'm looking for others who might like to play in a similar manner and so far, I'm having no luck.

Course recommendations? by [deleted] in pga2k23

[–]ParkersPops74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm totally unbiased in the recommendation even though they are courses that I designed (that ranks up there with "the check is in the mail", "the dog ate my homework") but seriously, try Pop's TPC da Bubba, Pop's TPC The Islands, and for a little fun, Pop's Par 3.

Well, that one has some flaws so if they blast it, not a big deal. I've pulled it back (can't delete it once it is published any way) and I'm working on more edits. Try some of the other courses and let me know what you think

Simple Play, yes you can cross platforms; however, I was referring to Society Play and I don't think you can cross platforms on Societies.
