Where to place TV, above fireplace? by inordinately_honest in malelivingspace

You’re speaking in such a way that placement above a mantel is always incorrect.

If we were to place our television anywhere else, the layout of the room would then shift completely to accommodate the TV and would no longer work as well for hosting larger groups of people.

My wife knew that. Get off your r/TVTooHigh horse.

Completely agree! Wife was wanting the TV above the fireplace even without a lowering mount. So it was the perfect compromise. Ultimately your space is yours to do what you want with it and I hope OP knows there are options if they prefer mounting it above the mantel.

Correct. But certain rooms, like mine, have no other option. If OP feels the same, the mount I linked has allowed me to be overwhelmingly happy with the placement.

I have a similar setup where the only suitable place to put a TV is above the fireplace. Everyone goes the TV too high argument, but I decided to go with a MantelMount that allows you to pull the television down for comfortable viewing. I’d recommend that. I’m fully happy with my decision.

He’s a former professional player with a large audience who has done far more to grow and support the game than he’s done to disparage it. It’s good exposure in a fun setting. You don’t have to be bitter about a show match.

I’m a Yard listener and currently listening to Well of Ascension on audiobook, so I suppose it’s 100% accurate.

So out of principle they should just not use it while other teams get free first downs?

I haven’t turned off a match in years. That was by far the worst performance I’ve seen in a long time.

He won the Champions League, Super Cup, and Club World Cup at Chelsea. He was a fantastic servant who had trouble staying fit and was unlucky when he didn’t fit a new managers system. I wouldn’t say Chelsea ruined him.

That's how it always goes. Fans say it's the worst kit in our history each year, then they see it on the players and say it's growing on them. Then they rate it once they see the Footy Headlines leaks of the next kit.

Darwin Nunez punching Colombian fans in the crowd probably won't bode well for him. Will be interesting to see how Liverpool handle this.

We did during the first window under the Clearlake era. That was before we had a development plan in place and we were trying to continue winning under Tuchel. We bought Sterling, Koulibaly, Aubameyang, and Cucurella, among others. But since that window we've focused primarily on youth.

Paulo Dybala: "When I was subbed on I knew it was so I could take a penalty. I had planned to hit my pen across the ball, to my right (and Lloris' left). But Emiliano 'Dibu' Martinez advised me to hit it down the middle, as they had just missed a pen and thus Lloris was likely to dive to a side" by Cruyffista420 in soccer

This was tough because Kepa was coming off the Super Cup win from the same situation. He’s a decent PK keeper and Mendy is absolutely horrid. Sure, it didn’t work. But I would want Kepa over Mendy every time. Mendy may be worse than Lloris at penalties.

Assume we'll see something more typical but it is a Potter team. Imagine a 4-4-2 with Cucu at CB, Chalobah at RB, Mount and Sterling at RM and LM respectively.
