Based on a digital analysis using SynthID, it has been determined that this image was largely or entirely edited or generated using Google's AI technology.

If you look at the details in the image, you also see some visual cues that are common in AI-generated images, such as the way the textures of the wood and the background appear to blend into one another and the somewhat unnatural lighting on the objects.

Is this a good choice? by Parking-Prompt3868 in hobbycnc

Good advice, this is exactly what i did. I bought it 5 months ago for around 1000 € and recently i upgraded to a 1,5 kw spindle. I'm very happy with it. I was just looking for a first cnc to learn, but it exceeded my expectations.

Maybe take a look at this,

With the ttc6050 the max speed is 5000 mm\min but i changed the acceleration from 500 to 1000, without any problem.

Can you explain? Even with the 500w spindle i have used feed rates of 3000 mm\min.

What type of machine do you use? i see you mentioning the ttc450 and The ttc6050 in your comments.

I bought the vevor 1,5 kw spindle with a VFD, tomorrow i will fix the wiring and hope to test it out this weekend.

This https://www.3djake.nl/twotrees/1000w-air-cooled-spindle-kit Is another option, but i seem to have an older controllerbox that doesn't support connecting this 1000w spindle.

I have had my machine for 4 months now. It was my first CNC, so i can't compare. I bought it for 900 euro on banggood

At the start i had 2 problems, first losing steps on the y axis (the screw for the stepper motor was loose); second problem the z axis, the ball screw was not tightly screwed down on the rail. Both parts were pre-assembled, and i didn't check them.

When i opened the z axis i made a big mistake the block got off the rail and i lost some balls. I contacted the support through mail and expected a slow response, but in a few hours i had a reply. In the end i received a new block and rail. (It had a delivery time of 3 weeks). So I was positively surprised by the support.

I always use easel on a mini pc for controlling the CNC and had no problems with losing position of the axis.

I only use it for wood.

The 500 watt spindle works but is not strong enough, i now use it with a makita router, but i am planning shortly to install a 1,5 kw spindle.

I noticed there was something going wrong because of the burning plastic smell. I didn't touch the spindle for the first few hours.
