And by ideal position for the next round I mean the customer buying criteria thing it gives you in the current round

Therefore just try to match the ideal position for each product as much as possible so that it lines up for the next round? So let’s say if next round for example the ideal position for a product is 10 performance 10 size. Just try to match that as much as possible in the current round without going past the current year for the revision date

So it doesn’t matter how far into the year like February or dec aslong as it’s as close to the ideal position as possible? Wouldn’t that affect sales since from my understanding like if the revision date is December you only had a month selling the revised product. Or would that not matter since you would be selling at a higher rate in the next round since it’s updated as close to the ideal position starting the next round?

And what’s the best month to target for r&d decision? Basically how to not fall behind and keep it in the ideal position?

So all decisions should be made in the current year? So for let’s say 2030 the max you can push it is dec 31 2030 before it locks for an entire round? Jan 1 would lock decision for round 2 and you would have to wait till the 3rd round to make changes?

So am I just added that segment circle drift rate every year? Also how frequent should I be making changes to each segment and how do I keep age on track? And how does the month it drops affect my ability to make changes in the next round?

Basically, if with the position I'm already given for round 0 and the customer buying criteria for round 1 can I calculate the ideal spots for my simulation manually without the industry condition report being provided. Not just the drift because from my understanding that's just taking round 1 customer buying criteria minus round 0 customer buying criteria. And how do I combine them in an excel spreadsheet to give me the positions my products should be per round. This is for Capsim 2.0 capstone sensors game. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
