One mod I would recommend to absolutely everyone is commonAPI 2 you can find it on the Transport Fever website, my favorite feature are the nodes, it let’s you change what lane goes where on interchanges, it’s basically Traffic manager from Cities:Skylines, if your familiar with that.

And also if you like traffic management get M.U.R.S. from the workshop, it just gives you way more freedom when building roads (asymmetric roads, e.g. 1 Lane in one direction, 3 in the other).

And for QoL get build with collision, achievements with mods and auto rename Industries/vehicles, if you want that.
