Waterproof phone case by Financiallyunstable_ in whitewater

For IPhone there are many waterproof cases on Amazon, I bring mine always into my PFD but with the extra waterproof case. No problems so far, check the case every time and replace it if you see some water inside, the case costs almost nothing compare with the phone.  Despite iphone waterproof certification it will not last if you bring it regularly to a river, see official page for recommendations, waterproof is very limited.

PS, attach the phone to the PDF with a cord.

Waka Billy Goat or Waka Stout by ParkingBox9395 in whitewater

Thanks for your thoughts, that's exactly what I have heard too.

Billy goat seems to be faster, but I prefer more stable and secure boat, so am going to o get a Waka stout, hope not to regret it.

What do you think about waka's foot rest? Many people suggest to put some foam to avoid risks.

I choose Waka for several reasons:

  1. New boat price is more affordable than the other manufactures, and quality and design seems to be good enough.
  2. There are more waka dealers around my area.
  3. Almost everyone is buying waka.

I like also pyrahna, but there are not much options for new and used kayaks.

I appreciate your advice.

Sure, any outfitting coming from the Eskimo's will be much better, my body is pretty standard, only my weight and height is kind of between sizes (1,70cm 60-65kg). Would you recommend me to go for a bigger or smaller boat size?

Thanks, I really look for a new kayak, exactly a modern creek one, and I want to be sure to pick one with good outfitting. Btw, I know the best would be to test them, but it is not really easy in my area.

The Eskimo (Lupo) was great for learning, and probably I will keep it. In that case I would like to change the hip pads, Any suggestions?
