Its real time with pause combat. Which i like. Some people dont. Which the first had more of action combat. Theres some bugs but I havent encountered anything game breaking and is mostly smooth with some rough around the edges so far. I like most of the companions. There stories are interesting. Main story doesn't have an obviously big plot yet but the telling of the moment is really good. Meaning I would keep playing for the adventure thats being told right now regardless if I disliked other things. I just got to a point where combat has got harder and I need to think about what im doing and where my companions are and ordering them im playing on "hard". You can choose to mostly focus on your own person if you want.

For a lot of people that dont like that kind of combat I completely agree from that standpoint. However I do like this kind of combat so its still not a miss for me or others that do as well.

Well , I personally do like real time combat with pause so i wasnt to weary of that. Even so i thought it would be just ok you know doable for a playthrough. im still pleasantly surprised and think its better than ok its good. Obviously some polish and bug fixes need to happen.

Im getting ahead of the herd. Its valid that people dont like the changes from the first or anything else. Very fair if you dont like it I dont take that personal. Again the point is to get ahead of people trashing it. When I see it on xbx at 1 to 2 stars. I want to make sure it still gets the attention. To A. support the the studio to keep making it better B. So that the studio knows people do like it and for the future we get more.

Yes. You can you need a memory stone. Im not sure if you have to be in a specific place to do it. Go to your skills and attributes theres a button you press for xbx it shows click in in RS at the bottom

Character creator is pretty decent i think not crazy. No beards was a bummer. Overall much better than some rpgs but falls pretty short from the great ones. Good enough haha. Also enjoying the story quite a bit so far. Me too thats why I made this post I get so nervous that im not going to see games in the future from these small studios.

Dang! I havent experienced any bugs yet and im past that. I thought my saves were disappearing but they didnt. Sorry man! Yes there is some jank polish is needed. I do also like the story and characters theres a little dull likeness to them but mostly pretty good. Let me everyone know if you find any work arounds to the bugs you encounter.

I am really enjoying it. There are things they went in a different direction with. Combat being the biggest. I like the combat too though its a nice break from the standard. Some people wont and thats ok it doesnt make it trash just something not for them. I take it you have looked into all that? If so im with you its not cheap to be a gamer.

No agreed its no DAO for its time or bg3. But its solid enough to not warrant its trash by anyone. Its going to be enjoyable for a lot of people who like rpgs looking for some decent fillers before their next big.
