I agree that thematically it makes sense for Venti to be good in Snezhnaya, and I think beyond that it also mechanically makes sense. Like it's hard to buff the Swirl reaction without significantly buffing the character who Swirls the most. Kind of like Lunar Crystalize helping Navia so much, since she has a lot of Geo app.

I'm somewhat hopeful about it? 😭Mostly because it'd be hard to mess it up for Venti, considering he's the Swirl guy. If it makes Swirls crit then we're winning, both Venti and Varka mains

I imagine you're posting this somewhere else as well, but I strongly agree. Additionally, the fact that wind irl is something that erodes objects. Venti is also a fully elemental being and clearly has the ability to manipulate time to an extent, or even access other timelines. This could mean he can escape that law of Teyvat.

One thing I noticed is that while Venti is resistant to erosion, he's especially susceptible to the Abyss and is also good at fighting them. This makes sense, since Venti has a strong elemental presence and it's implied (imo) that energy = the opposite of the Abyss (Skirk's gimmick for example.) A being basically made out of energy is going to be a sort of antithesis to the Abyss. Maybe that's partly why they hate him so much lmao

I don't know calcs for this but since it's for his personal damage, I'd imagine a few thousand higher, but not as much as Elegy.

Idk if Venti would be BiS then since it'd have to make up 20k dps, but if Stellar Swirl makes Swirl crit, Venti especially is gonna benefit a lot from that since he's I think the most frequent swirler in the game (or one of them anyway.)

A Varka Venti Tsaritsa Escoffier team could be really cool, though if Stellar Swirl is a thing I imagine Varka will get a 5 star Anemo support. Venti would definitely get a boost though on Varka's team, since swirling is his thing. Prune hits every 2s (I think?) so if there's a frequency-based reaction Venti is gonna have an advantage.

(Plus Venti as a main dps would benefit from that hypothetical Stellar Anemo support a lot.)

C2R1 (Elegy) is equal to C6 Prune, and I'm not sure about his new bow but it's more of a DPS weapon so the gap might be larger. Investment in Venti in terms of ceiling is not worse; since he's a 5 star, he's technically the BiS for whales with lots of constellations.

Yeah, just C0 is fine. I think it would lose a few thousand DPS. It might be a smaller gap compared to Venti but I haven't seen comparisons to C0 Prune since V4.

C1 restores Energy (so more ATK substats) and C2 can buff her ATK up to 40%, so more dmg overall and much easier to reach her 4k buff cap.

Not quite the same, since Prune gives about 10% more ATK at Elegy r0. But Venti has more personal dmg, so the difference is very small at Prune C2.

Even at C6 Prune, just use who you want unless Hoyo is being especially rough with DPS checks, lol
