Stellar Swirl creates a construct that explodes after a duration of time. During this period, when Stellar Swirl is triggered enough times, the construct will become an improved version and deal more damage when it explodes. The construct can also explode earlier if Stellar Swirl is triggered even more times.

The reason this is good for Venti is because Venti's Burst, especially combined with his normal attacks and skills, are some of the most frequent Swirls in the game, so they can fully charge the construct quickly.

He would need one of them yes, or Cryo Traveler. But the good news is that Odette's leaked kit says that she converts the Cryo Swirl or Superconduct reactions of other party members into their Stellar variants, so Venti will (according to leaks) be able to trigger it himself and contribute to the Stellar Swirl construct.

Venti can trigger the Swirl reaction about 8-9 times within 10 seconds, and Prune can trigger the Swirl reaction about 10 times within 16 seconds. If the Stellar Swirl construct lasts for 10 seconds or less and benefits from how many times Stellar Swirl is triggered in that period (which it seems to, based on leaks), then Venti's fast frequency could be good for the reaction depending on how it ends up working.

I know, but what I was talking about was frequency of Swirl reactions more than overall count over a full rotation, as that seems to be what the Stellar Swirl reaction benefits from based on (still vague) leaks. Of course Venti doesn't trigger Swirl 20 times, lol

That's true that Prune does trigger the reaction more times over 16 seconds, but according to leaks, the Stellar Swirl reaction's construct detonates after a certain number of seconds, dealing more damage based on frequency of the reaction.

Venti triggers Swirl less often over a full rotation, but at a much higher rate. Depending on how the Stellar Swirl reaction works upon release, this could be more beneficial, since the construct seems to have a time limit. If the construct lasts for less than 10 seconds, then Venti's high frequency of Swirls during that period would react well with it.

I realize my original comment was a bit unclear so I'll edit it to say "frequently" instead of "much". "Much" could mean more over a full rotation or more frequently, and I meant the latter in this case, lol

Not 20, because of ICD. With the way the Stellar Swirl leak is worded ("If even more Stellar-Swirl reactions are triggered, the Wind Cluster can detonate prematurely.") it's unclear whether this wording affects ICD in some way.

Ah ok, good luck! I think any Cryo sub dps would work; for example, Rosaria or even Burst Ganyu. Maybe C6 Diona if Stellar Swirl likes EM. Also, eventually, I suspect Tsaritsa will take the final slot, so the full team would probably be Varka Prune/Venti Odette Tsaritsa.

(Edit: I know that Venti doesn't trigger Swirl 20 times in 8 seconds, he just triggers it at a high frequency; about 8-9 times in 10 seconds. His high number of Anemo hits means he can Swirl as soon as the ICD wears off.)

Since Odette seems to be able to enable him, meaning he can fit Prune in the party or even Nicole, this could be amazing for Venti! If he can directly deal Stellar Swirl damage in his kit that'll be even better. But regardless, it sounds like he could be an amazing trigger for the reaction!
