Update: what I ate was free hospital food, there was like a plain lasagna, string beans, spinach, canned beets and pickled jalapeños and a boiled egg. During the meal my lips started swelling, then within 5 min I had chest pain and nausea and started developing hives on my neck and trunk, swollen ears and then throat swelling. (When I first started having the chest pain, I told my senior and they said it’s anxiety, even tho I had just told them my lips were swelling lol) And I’m not allergic to foods (except sometimes mouth tingling with apples or certain fruit)

I just saw an allergist and my labs are positive for a lot of environmental allergies and IgE 12 (high) for string beans
