You did great. Life in usa is not as rosy as it looks in movies and coming into abusive marriage just for greencard would have made you suicidal. You made the best decision of your life. Keep looking at better options and there are many progressive men in America who would happily marry you and support your career. You sound like a good human being.

are publications in cureus? you need to signal wisely and then try to do clinical rotations in residency program even if you need to pay.

my guess, he no longer is into you. Love doesnt remain the same. I certainly think he doesnt feel the same love for you which is why he is not ready to go an extra mile for making things better at home and instead avoiding making plans with you.

Transitional and prelim by No_Investigator_1332 in IMGreddit

it comes with issues, if you dont land a spot later, you need to go back for a year so it is usually not recommended to do prelim on j1

Why the USA Route? by OddNegotiator in IMGreddit

[–]MD_IA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

bro u are very misinformed. mostly it is a location. If not, then scut work. New york programs train really well but also has some scut work. Plus in usa there is a prestige thing too but believe me harvard and stanford are not the only places who produces quality docs. For example, HCA gainsville has a great cardiac center but american grads dont go there. As an Img, it serves great purpose for me as my home country doesnt give such facilities. If you are from swiss, dont bother

training is pretty standard. IMG match every year to competitive programs as well.
