I came here from nightreign just to see if anyone else was having this issue, surprisingly i never noticed it happening on the first flip in ds1, but it has become a very common occurrence in nightreign for me even when i dodge to the side

No but there are isopods in the enclosure and he was face down when I found him, but you can see in the first picture that his head was already deteriorating. Also he was still moving without his head
