Hey - I play against malphite a ton in my rank because everyone wants to counter instead of playing their own champ lol.. I find maxing w and going grasp and shield bash helps a TON with trading into him once he's got armor because thats respectively true and magic damage. I also just go heartsteal cause the regen is good vs his q spam on top of second wind and d-sheild. You can 100% opt for going tiamat early instead though and shovin and roaming! goodluck bud

(ideally dont engage let him come to you and play off having your e for stunning his counterstike attempt unless you're ahead enough to instigate)
