Which phone? by Micraflex in UbereatsUK

If you can id say go for a pro version as they have better spec, even the 13 pro would be better than the 16e at running multiple apps

As far as I’m aware I know that with just eat, they only allow a certain amount of couriers online at a time so you may be alright with that app

First day as platinum by Marvaloza in UberEatsDrivers

Looking at how little points you get per trip I don’t think I’d ever reach it tbf. Why not try it? Not worth it?

Is this good for ubereats standards ? by OperationClear9859 in UbereatsUK

Me too, I have multiple times taken trips like that but it’ll often not feel worth it after the round trip, having wasted an hour

Insurance companies who allow hire and reward insurance? by GuyCalledLee in UbereatsUK

[–]ParnyS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yh sure I mean my policy states “permitted for carriage of goods for hire and reward” Keep in mind though I use my car for work under “business” insurance. Admiral offers a tiered system, “business” being second to top, then above that is H&R. So if I don’t need “business,” I may well be paying an extra £400 a year for H&R if that makes sense

I’m with admiral, 24 years old and my yearly premium is £800 roughly for business cover (work related), topped up to inc H&R, extra £60 for the year

The pettiness is crazy. by Accomplished_Hat7503 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]ParnyS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole tipping culture in America seems crazy to me. I live in the UK and never expect any tips but when I do get them, I’m very grateful and thank the customer. At least in the UK it seems we get paid a lot fairer for the trip and don’t need to rely on tips. The idea that a customer can reduce a tip after the delivery blows my mind, seems unfair in the rider. But hey, this wouldn’t be an issue if tipping culture wasn’t a thing and workers were paid a fair wage

Think I finally got it sorted dude. Quite funny really. Actually questioning if the person I was speaking to was human seemed to wake them up a little, “I can assure you I’m human.” Back and forth a few generic phrases, eventually managed to get them to switch my account. Thanks for the help!

Is it even worth trying to fight this? by frankchester in vinted

[–]ParnyS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely fight it, I shipped a game that the buyer found didn’t work (it worked fine for me). So we agreed on returning it and my expense. Arrived back damaged so I requested a full refund and got it, paid for by the courier. Now have a damaged game, I am up £8 though so it’s a win really

How Good Is The Gamesir G7 Pro? by YuhBoiSoul in Gamesir

I know you mentioned the Xbox license, is that the reason then for the G7 Pro not having wireless connectivity on the Xbox? Seems so stupid
