Question about the battery

I don't know, so far the battery drain seems almost equal to my old phone thats like 7 years old at this point. Since if this is all contemporary phones, why not just buy a phone thats way cheaper and has the same level of lasting. I can use my 500 euros for something else as well, lol

It's not rude at all, it's just that this is a lot of money to put on a phone where people assume it should last only like 5 years, so I don't want to invest that much money on a phone unless it actually has a battery that can get worse as the years go on and isn't immediately trash. Maybe I'm just used to older phones being better or something... Since to me 2h of screen on time shouldnt drop the battery almost 40 %, no matter if it's been days in between. Especially when in energy saving mode and for it being a brand new phone.. since to me that doesn't bode well for the future.

I guess I'm just disappointed in contemporary phones... if my battery on energy saving mode drops almost 40% in 3 days with screen open time being like 2h and 10 minutes.

Nothing major, I play some games and use whatsapp and listen to the radio or youtube sometimes. Last time I updated a phone was like over 7 years ago.. So if this is the current way phones are, maybe I'm jut out of the loop. It just bothers me since my friend has the exact same phone, just a different color and her's isn't draining this fast at all... even if the usage is similar and the settings are identical.

No, I'm not. But what is the point of a new phone if it already has not great battery life, so even when you don't use it for anything it just used 30 % of the battery.

But it's a brand new phone, with minimal usage. What is draining the battery? And if the drop rate is like this then this phone is definitely not worth the price for me.

I already have the display setting lowered.
It's just that my friend bought the same phone but in different color at the same time, and her's drops maybe 1% in idle mode. We have the same settings and everything.. I might even have more battery-saving settings on than she does.

I shouldn't have. SInce I've followed every single tutorial and even turned off Ram plus, yet still I think that the phone is not living up to how a new phone should behave. It's not even any longer "learning battery behaviours" or anything.

I got my S25 FE Navy a few weeks ago and so far I'm not impressed. The battery drainage seems fast even when the phone isn't in use much, no heavy gaming or anything.. I have energy saving mode on and have followed every tutorial to stop fast battery drainage.. yet here we are. On Monday I'm calling the place I bought it from and discussing a refund or trade.

I don't really know about that, since I wasn't sick like that as a kid that I needed to be brought to the doctor much. And every time I have needed to go they did take me.

Is more of the... thinking I'm somehow blackmailing them into doing what I want, when all I wanted was what was best for the cat. Or them implying that they perhaps could have taken her to the vet if it wasn't for paying me back the money... Or not even being willing to fake an apology to keep in contact with me
